I’ve just posted a screencast that walks through the process of finding and purchasing a dataset.

Just as I was finishing the script for this (last week), I saw that Adena Schutzberg posted A Graphic Tour of WeoGeo article on Directions Magazine. As always, I was impressed by Adena’s view of things. She gets it!

This morning, Adena also posted a podcast interview with Paul (CEO of WeoGeo) over on All Points Blog.

Last week, WeoGeo had a visit from Andrew Turner, author of the excellent O’Reilly shortcut, Introduction to NeoGeography, and blogger over at High Earth Orbit. It was a really productive visit; I learned quite a bit about GeoRSS and I got a sneak preview of one of his projects: the new and improved Mapufacture site. It will officially launch at Where2.0 so be sure to keep an eye on his sites.
